BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY JUNE 7, 1915. SWAN & SWAN: Dancing jugglers, 10 minutes (1) Lady and Man. Fairly good act, the idea of dancing while juggling being something of a novelty. Man does some clever work, but the lady is really too ill to work; She has already received medical attention from one of our leading physicians who advised her 'to cease work, and go to bed'. She continued to work, but the act is little better than a single, so far as the lady's ability is concerned. NED GERARD: Accordeonist, Fairly good, his extremely varied selections being well-received, and while not the best artist in his line seen here in the past, he is infinitely superior to many of his predecessors, because of the excellent choice of numbers. KOLER, EVANS & NORTON: Singing, talking and dancing, 15 minutes C. D. F. 3 Men. Very weak feature. Their material is tame and uninteresting, and they have difficulty in obtaining a few scattered laughs. Two of the principals have shown great ability in past performances, but they are woefully lacking in their present offering. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R.I. REPORT OF SHOW, THURSDAY, JUNE, 10, 1915. EDITH MOTE: SINGING NOVELTY, 9 MIN. (1), PLUSH DROP. A bewildering display of beautiful gowns changed with great rapidity, combined with vocal selections given in a voice of good quality makes a particularly acceptable offering. SCHRODE & MULVEY: COMEDY SKIT, 15 MIN. LADY & MAN, C.D.F. Good act, possessing plenty of very laughable comedy; Their dancing too, is excellent, and the whirl-wind finish is the best thing of its kind ever seen here. SCHOOLER & DICKINSON: MUSICAL, 18 MIN. (1). The same big emphatic hit as when last seen here. Master Schooler's brilliant performance at the piano held the large audience spellbound from start to finish, and Miss Dickinson is a valuable adjunct with her pleasing vocal renditions. The act is a huge success.
