H. T. JORDAN PHILADELPHIA SHOW DEC. 5, 1915. HEARST SELIG PICTURES. 15 min. Very good set of pictures. IOLEEN SISTERS. 8 min. Two girls in a wire-walking and shooting novelty act. Nicely dressed and made a very good opener. KANE & HERMAN. 16 min. Two young fellows in evening clothes singing, dancing and talking. Did fairly well. HALLEN & FULLER. 23 min. "The Corridor of Time." These favorites of twenty-five years ago are reviving old memories, doing an old time variety act, singing some of the old songs, cracking some old gags and finishing with an imitation of Lester & Allen, the old time minstrels. It is something different and therefore a good novelty which registered a good sized hit. DOROTHY TOYE. 11 min. A young woman who sings in two voices, soprano and tenor, having remarkable control of both. She sang several selections, scoring well with each and finished to a strong hand of applause. McCONNELL & SIMPSON. 24 min. "At Home." This is a riproaring comedy act with laughs, action and speed in every line and bit of business. There is not a slow minute in it and it is one of the biggest laughing hits we have had in some time. WILLARD. 11 min. Although this is the second time within a year, he held the audience in rapt attention and was rewarded to liberal amount of applause. VAN & BEAUMONT SISTERS. 30 min. This act kept the audience in a roar of laughter from start to finish. Has not been changed since the last time it was here but it scored a tremendous laughing success. GEORGE MacFARLANE. 20 min. The well known American baritone and opera singer scored a big applause hit in the next-to-closing position. Most of the numbers he sang were popular and the audience applauded vigorously at the finish of each song. He finished by telling a couple of short stories and singing two ballads. Closed to a big hand. DELMORE & LEE. 11 min. Doing their familiar revolving ladder and breakaway act unchanged from former seasons. Made a very showy closing act and was liberally applauded at the finish of a late show. GENERAL REMARKS. this is a very good show from start to finish with plenty of laughs, good music and a showy finishing number. Played well and drew plenty of applause. CUTS KANE & HERMAN. Words "God," "damn" and "hell" BILLY B. VAN. Word "damn" McCONNELL & SIMPSON. Recognizing persons in audience.
