BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 30, 31, Nov. 1. MAX BURKHARDT--- In Character Songs; neat appearance; sings four songs; 12 min. in one; only went fair. VAN LIEW TRIO--- "A Bouquet of Songs"--two women and a man in a specially arranged singing act, one of the women accompanying at the piano--carry a very artistic setting which was greatly admired. 16 min. full stage--went very big. BURLEY & BURLEY--- "The Quaint Comedians"--in "The Dude and the Scot." They sing, dance, talk do queer acrobatic stunts in a peculiar way of their own, which amused the audience greatly, and went over big. 12 min. in one. A. S. ALTON & ALLEN--- Songs, Dances and Patter--two men; work in evening clothes; do some very fine dancing. 12 min. in one--went big. SUSAN TOMPKINS--- Former Violin Soloist with Sousa's Band--very neatly dressed and a very fine artist; playing four selections, which were greeted with rounds of applaus--12 min. in. one. HOLMES & HOLLISTON--- In a Comedy Sketch entitled "Looking for Betsey"--man and woman; rural sketch; this sketch is full of life and laughs all through and went great. Finished with an impersonation of the Berry Bros. in "Shore Acres". 22 min. full stage. A. S. Watson
