BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 30, 31, Nov. 1. MAX BURKHARDT--- In Character Songs; neat appearance; sings four songs; 12 min. in one; only went fair. VAN LIEW TRIO--- "A Bouquet of Songs"--two women and a man in a specially arranged singing act, one of the women accompanying at the piano--carry a very artistic setting which was greatly admired. 16 min. full stage--went very big. BURLEY & BURLEY--- "The Quaint Comedians"--in "The Dude and the Scot." They sing, dance, talk do queer acrobatic stunts in a peculiar way of their own, which amused the audience greatly, and went over big. 12 min. in one. A. S. ALTON & ALLEN--- Songs, Dances and Patter--two men; work in evening clothes; do some very fine dancing. 12 min. in one--went big. SUSAN TOMPKINS--- Former Violin Soloist with Sousa's Band--very neatly dressed and a very fine artist; playing four selections, which were greeted with rounds of applaus--12 min. in. one. HOLMES & HOLLISTON--- In a Comedy Sketch entitled "Looking for Betsey"--man and woman; rural sketch; this sketch is full of life and laughs all through and went great.
