REPORT on SHOW at KEITH'S PROVIDENCE THEATRE week of MARCH 12, 1917. The show this week didn't seem to go very well with Monday's audiences and I am inclined to believe it was the audiences rather than the show, although a couple of the acts got over first rate--however, not as big as they should and all of them ought to have done better. Lillian's Dogs Very good act for the children because of some comedy novelties introduced. 7 Minutes Full Stage. Moore & Haager Well known man and woman in a comedy singing act. 16 Minutes In One. Flavilla. Girl Accordeonist. Plays very well but over-does the "acting". 10 Minutes In One. McCarty & Faye Splendid little comedy sketch with singing and dancing. Surprisingly well played and the dancing and singing numbers well executed. 24 Minutes in One. Allen & Howard Very good two man talking act with the assistance of an attractive young woman. A good deal on the lines of the old Howard & North act. 17 Minutes in One. Ruth St. Denis Very beautiful act which I think will draw us some business. 25 Minutes Full Stage. Bufford & Chain Two young chaps with a bright line of material. 18 Minutes in One. Jordan Girls Little singing and dancing and wire walking. Nice act. CUTS McCarty & Faye "What the hell"--"look at the piano player". Allen & Howard Cut "what the hell" and all suggestions of same. Bufford & Chain Cut the line in the song "to hell with my wife" and the joke "Don't misjudge".
