REPORT BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 20, 21 and 22.
DAINTY VIRGINIA--- Child Comedienne--14 years of age--act consists of Singing, Dancing and a Recitation. 8 min. in one; went good.
TANEAN BROTHERS--- "Lazy Niggers"--blackface comedy act, also play cornet, trombone and xylophone. 17 min. in one; went good.
RESISTA--- "The Ninety Pound Girl Whom No One Can Lift"---two women and a man on the stage, also carry several "plants". Resista is carried out in the audience for the people to try and lift her, but no one seemed anxious to try--the matinee was very tame, but at night got several men to go on the stage to try their strength, but all failed to lift her from the floor, to the amusement of the audience. 14 min. full stage;
