REPORT BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, September 3, 4 and 5. MONS. HERBERT--- "Up-to-date Musical Novelty"--Plays novelty instruments, including glasses, all manner of dishes, knives, forks, etc., comedy pantomime. 12 min. in one; went good. JULE BERNARD & FLORENCE SCARTH--- In a Comedy Duologue called "The Tale of an Overcoat"--Special Drop in two; a lively comedy skit, full of funny sayings, etc., 14 min.; went good. THE ORIENTAL SINGERS--(Mme. Doree's)--- Four men, four women and a conductor--Special setting representing interior of a Pasha's palace; the singers were all beautifully dressed. They sang in italian, which is rather "high" for our patrons, but nevertheless, the act went over good. 20 min. full stage. [Signature: A S Watson]
