Out of the corner of his eye Willus could see that the gray walls had been replaced suddenly by a flat, reddish plain, stretching away as far as the eye could reach. He looked around. More plain. Willus cleared his throat. "Pardon me," he said cautiously, "But do you notice anything - ah - unusual?" She shrugged. "If you mean this," she waved a hand a the surrounding scenery, "It's nothing unusual. Anything can happen in Infinity, you see. It usually does, in fact," she added meditatively. "Well, as I was saying - ..." Willus began again. "Eeek!" "Whassamatter?" inquired the man in the golden spacesuit anxiously. "Run!" shrieked the girl, pointing over Willus' shoulder and did so. Willus took one look at the grayish-black cloud hovering there, and then he followed the girl. The gravity was rather low here, he noticed. Even with the added burden of his spacesuit, he was easily able to overtake her. "He's the only one in Infinity," she panted, as he caught up with her. "that I fear!" "Who?" Willus queried, with a backward glance at the cloud which was keeping its distance. But she only gasped, "Run! Run! If we can only get into a time-space-ether warp before..."
