Saving...
With our very first issue we made up our mind that SNIDE must have a motto; & we had once all ready, too, but forgot to include it. Hence, this time, we compensate with two: first, for our scholarly readers, a Latin one - 'Numquam equum bonum dentibus tollite.' - & second, for the roughneck element, one in English- 'To hell with anything unrefined.' -Don Marquis Take your pick. Traitor! Fifth Column! TREASON! Sabotage! Yes, all that and more besides!! THE DAMN THING, as conceived by T. Bruce Yerke, is the hottest thing off. It's veritable treason, [open?] fifth columnism. It upsets all scientifiction fan mag traditions. It's a riot! It's ribald! It's cynical! It's wide open! Get a hell of a laugh for only a dime. Address: THE DAMN THING!
