Saving...
An Open Letter by Ron Holmes Leopold Ferdinand Gratz took the dozen sheets of bilious-colored note-paper from the file. Once again he re-read the letter from across the pond, once again to groan at the responsibilties editing a U.S. fanmag brings. He shuddered again, and squaring his shoulders began to type a reply.......... Dear Fellow Fan, Thanx for your letter, I note you, like all other English fans, are in need of new publications from this side of the Atlantic. Since I wrote last, no fewer than three new magazines have appeared. Of course, I do no know what exactly your taste is in science-fiction. The first I would mention is 'Reproachful Stories', if you want a magazine which is scientifically sound, with interplanetary travel and human interest, I can heartily recommend this mag. I can do no better than to quote the words of its editor, Mr Y Singer. 'Now that the fate of this world is in the balance, and we are forced to look forward. We must consolidate our ideas and picture the perfect world-to-come. Together with the world's most prominent men let us exchange our ideas in "Reproachful Stories".' On the other hand, you may be a fan who prefers literary style-en perfecto, spacewarps and mutants, I can only recommend 'Capt. Creature'. Here, again,
