The Reader Shrieks EDITOR One point of course, puts it across and makes it tops, and that is the art work...The text isn't to be neglected either. In a number of places you out-Tucker Tucker... -PAUL FREEHAFER To tell you the honest truth, the whole gang read, every word between the cover and all agreed that it's tops. My wife even read it and almost laughed -- boy O boy that is something. -MARVIS MANNING Don came to my bed of pain this a.m. chortling & sniggering. 'Smatter?' queried I. He waved a purple mass at me. 'Snide' he said laconically. I have read Snide. I like Snide. -Dick Wilson I bought the first issue because I hoped it would be full of your purty pictures and darned if you didn't put in some of the best humorous stories & articles I have yet read in a fan magazine. -MELVIN C. SCHMIDT SNIDE is the berries! Best fan-fun sheet on the market ( in between issues of LeZ)...[Roberds?], Reinsberg, Korshak and I cackled over it merrily together. -BOB TUCKER ...All in all, in other words, the magazine doesn't stink, and you may thus consider yourself entered into the ranks of fan magazine publishers. I say so, and who dares flaunt my word? -HARRY WARNER, JR. ...yer first was great - i especially enjoyed the little snide knights you drew [?] the pages - more please. -R.D. [S?] 33
