STEFNEWS Weekly 5 [cents] per copy #66 A Fantasy Foundation Publication 1/2 price to Foundation subscribers James Hevelin 3761 Third Street Riverside, California STRANGERS CD The Strangers Club, one of the active pre-war clubs, has been revived by the efforts of Chan Davis and others in the Boston area. Six members attended the meeting of 6 Oct. They were Chan Davis, Art Widner, Harry Stubbs, Frank Wilimszyk, Sam Stuart, and Arseny Karpovich. An informal meeting, it lasted nine hours, during which the six fans discussed sociology, general semantics, extra-terrestrial life, biological warfare, and similar topics. The group will hold monthly meetings at 7 Story St, Cambridge, Mass. The next meeting will be held on 3 Nov---next Sunday. PROFESSIONAL PUBLISHING (cont) Pegasus Publications is to publish two pocket-books of stories by Bob Tucker. Each will contain four short stories. Five of the eight stories will be reprints of stories Bob has had published in science fiction magazines. This will be the first publication of the remaining three stories.
