Still I remember life's lessons you taught me, Smiling so calmly,--tender, yet gay; My life is strong in the love that you brought me, My heart shall cherish your memory for aye! I cannont grieve for the years we've been parted, Knowing each year that I live, you will be Guiding my life--as you have since it started-- Fairer, and dearer, and nearer to me!
