CHARACTERS (with the suggested players for the parts): Number One (Head of the Super-slans)...F J Ackerman The Crazy Cossakc...J C Miske Hoy Ping Pong...B Tucker Prof. Kindley...H C Koenig The Man Made Monster...J Gilbert The Newshound...J Unger Joe Fann...E Perdue Yngvi...M Rothman The Demon...D Knight Pogo...Mrs R Wood The Poll Cat...A Widner Jr The Con Man...W Daugherty OTHERS: Slans, at least four. Act One, Scene One: (Prof. Kindey's lab. He putters about among test tubes, etc., smiling happily. The door opens. His assistant, the Cossack, walks in. The Prof turns and smiles. The C leers, trying to keep from looking evil... Cossack: Hello, Prof, my dear friend. Is not my research batter dan yours, now? Da! It is! Prof: Well it's a bit - er - revolutionary, don't y'think, son? C: Ummmm - could be. But it's my work - I, the greatest liffing scientist, know dat I can produce LIFE from a test tube! P: Please, son, do not continue this - this -- no, you musn't! It is too - too - er - messy. Why don't you do the work I suggest . . . C: NO! I do as I please! P: But my dear boy! If only you'd - oh, very well then! You are discharged! C: Aha! So you say! (C strikes the prof down with a rabbit punch. He tries the prof to a chair, chuckling evilly as the curtain falls.) Scene Two - Still the lab. The Crazy Cossack gazes fondly at a sheet-covered body on the long table. The prof, now conscious, but still bound in his chair stares in horror as C removes the sheet revealing the Man Made Monster!
