S.F.A. HELD at the HAMILTON CAFE Friday, August 26th, 1938 good enough for publication. Notes were taken by everyone, and spirited discussions arose as soon as the reading was finished. It was during one of these that Mr. Gabrielson suggested that a criticism of a S-F story should be given at the next meeting. This was voted a good idea, and accordingly Mr. F.D. Wilson volunteered to criticize our worthy President's story "Satellites of Death" for our enlightenment and delectation. The meeting was then officially declared closed, but as time had proved a little more elastic than we expected, a glorious intellectual free-for-all developed. This lasted until 11 p.m., although I know that at least one little group held a continuation meeting outside a large Liverpool store until close on midnight (because I was one of them), and proceeded to rebuild the world closer to their own ideas. I shall be very glad to hear from interesting members at 30, Graylands Road, LIVERPOOL J.A. FREE
