Saving...
January 1, 1946 My dearest Carroll, Happy New Year, darling! Another year has begun. It doesn't seem possible. And it's going to be a most wonderful year, believe me. 1945 was way above the rest but 1946 will be far ahead still. The only thing that has made me so happy is loving you & having you love me. You can't imagine how very much I love you darling. From the very bottom of my heart. You mean everything to me darling. My very life -- my very being is you darling. I only wish I could put in writing how very much I love you. You'll never realize darling. Soon I can prove it to you. I'll never be completely happy until I'm with you forever. I keep wondering how you ushered in the New Year. Mine was very quiet one. Kay Hall
