Saving...
weather was so miserable and came home on the train. Got up at 6:30 to eat breakfast with Dad and could hardly stay awake. He and Mr. McDaniel are still looking for an apt. or house but is certainly slow going. He's getting rather down in the dumps cuz of it. He likes the work in Washington, just real well. And wouldn't you know Richland had a very exciting B.B game with Wellman Fri nite and I missed it. Steamer and Margret came by after me thinking I'd be home. How I wish I had been. Spent Sat at home. Did some sewing and few odd jobs about the house. Nick came down in the P.M. Mom shortened some trousers for him. Says he is going to Iowa Wesleyan to school and that was a surprise. I must have looked a bit surprised cuz he said he had connections. Evidently he does have.
