Saving...
She sure hates to have him leave. When you go to school darling, I'm going with you even if we have to live on a park bench. Well, maybe not quite that bad but almost. I got a very sweet letter from your Mother. Said [Swede?] had gotten home. He met a nurse on Saipan that had been in Ruth's class. And she was my big sister when I [came?] in training. Small world, isn't it? [Streamer?] & Margret had gone to the B.B. game & Karen & [Lady?] were in bed. That's surprising for Lady. How's the B.B. coming honey. Wish I were there to root for you. I just wish I were there [with] you for always. To be near you & talk to you would be so heavenly, believe me. Today I washed my hair & put it up before I went to bed & was I tired. I'm beginning to think I need a few vitamins or something. Nothing like that really. All I need is you here [with] me darling. I got up about 5:00 today cuz I was hungry so tho't I'd better go to supper. We cleaned the cottage few minutes
