I kept hoping he wouldn't rest well but I'm afraid he did. We were really busy all nite. I intended to go to lecture on insulin therapy in the evening but just couldn't get there. Some of these fellows that have been in service come back [with] so many different ideas & I like to hear what they have to say. I owe the kids so many letters but it seems as tho I just don't get started at the task. Well, darling, one month has gone by and another one has begun. It's getting closer honey & the closer the better. I've got my fingers crossed for us honey hoping we'll be surprised & you'll get home sooner. Nothing could be better in my estimation than to have you home to stay forever. I keep dreaming of that
