February 11, 1946 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Time to write that one swell fellow I love so very much. I shall go on [with] the news cuz I usually get started telling you how very much I love you & forget what news I do have. Yesterday AM when I got off duty decided to wash my hair & take a bath.
