Saving...
over to Ruth's for the evening. We sat around & talked & drank coffee most of the time. Kathie is really sweet & growing so fast. She weighs 9 lbs 10 oz now & she's beginning to smile & watch you. I came home about 10:00 & decided to take a short nap before I went on duty so I snoozed for 1/2 hr. Had to strip my bed & get my laundry ready so I scurried for the next 1/2 hr. We weren't so busy last nite & did I get sleepy. I was so miserable. This AM was the one I had been dreading. Today I got one tooth pulled. Really was very easily done but even so can't say as I care for it one bit. I got to bed about 11:00 & kids woke me about 1:30. Slept again until 3:30 & they woke me again & I just couldn't go back to sleep. So I got up & went downtown to do abit of shopping. Bought me a beautiful plaid [skirt?]. I can just hear Mother when she sees it. But it's very pretty, really. Came home & have been listening to the radio till now. And is it ever hot in cottage tonite. Is real nice outside & even the sun shone today. I have some new kids starting on nite duty this wk. Hope it doesn't take them
