Saving...
(2) I slept until about 5:00 & then Moore decided she wanted to go to show so I had to go to. Saw "lost Weekend" [with] Ray Milland. Very good & so true. Acting was above average. It reminded me so much of what we saw in St Louis. So typical. Came home & several were playing cards so we started. I played so late I had to dash to get ready & on duty. Even had my laundry to fix. Today I slept till 4:00 & then Duffy & I went downtown to do abit of shopping. I got a new pair of shoes & purse. Brown leather & very pretty. Tried to find white uniforms but they always say "sorry -- we don't have your size." Gar -- Was supposed to file our income tax today but didn't get there on time
