Saving...
(3) so guess I'll have to tomorrow. Did I tell you folks had sold their house to Harry McClure's & Peg [Rameys] are moving back to Richland & are going to rent it for awhile. Guess they plan to build later. I heard from Joan the other day. She was fine & said Mick liked Mt Pleasant pretty good so far. She's going down there for a formal soon. And did she surprise me -- said Ruth Carris is married. Has been since last June. To some fellow at Navy base. She certainly kept that a secret. Saw Ruth today. She is going home Wed. for a few wks. Hate to see her leave. Dave was home for the wk. end. This place is starting to be its usual hub-bub. Some are playing cards, one the piano, one is sewing ([with] the machine in very center of the floor) & I'm trying to write a decent letter.
