February 22, 1946 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Friday nite & my nite off. Soon we are to leave for a party at Fr. Hall. If they are like previous attempts they are dull as possible & so very boring. Hope this proves differently. The pre-cadets are responsible & they're really a good bunch of kids. Have really been doing good work on the floors so far. Yesterday I tho't I was gone for sure. Rather expected to be cast away from Good Ole' St Lukes.
