Saving...
(2) fine until about 11:30. I had sat down to relax about 11:00 & they came dashing after me. A fellow on 4th had cut his throat. I began to feel like maybe mine should be. He was very depressed but no one expected it to that extent. I called the Dr & came out & did some suturing. I was scared to death what he'd say but he was really swell & he kept teasing me cuz I worried so. And rightly so, why wouldn't I? And earlier that evening about 9:30, when I was real busy Miss [Winchel?] called me up to chat. She wasn't feeling well & was lonesome I guess. Anyhoo, she has asked me to teach a class in Psychiatric nursing.
