February 24, 1946 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Sun. evening & a very quiet one. Everyone is home tonite & rather [pooed? passed?] out for some reason & we're all so quiet. "Evelyn & her magic violin" are playing now. Really very pretty. Seems to have all of us sorta spell-bound. Last time I wrote we were getting ready to dash to Fr. hall for the pre-cadet party. We did & we didn't get back to cottage until about 1:00 AM. Had alot of fun. Played bridge & some of the kids danced. Really best party they ever had at Fr Hall & we were glad we had
