March 8, 1946 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Winter weather here again but definitely. We practically had a blizzard tonite. We decided thru it all we'd go to the show so we got a cab & slide down the hill sideways most of the way. We were abit worried but the cab driver didn't seem to be so decided I might as well not. The shows were lousy. And a double feature at that. I could hardly sit still. It had stopped snowing when we came out & it was wonderful out. We just got home & the cottage is a lively little place.
