one before we finally got downtown. Took about 45" when usually takes about 15". We are & fooled around for awhile then came home. About six of us sat & played cards & listened to the radio for the remainder of the evening. Ruth called & guess what! She is going to get to go & live [with] Dave. They have a house trailer lined up. She said would be rather crowded [with] all Kathie's things but they'd be much happier. She just came back from [Ollie?] today. She'll be back in Dav. on Tues or Wed for few days then she & Kathie will go to stay. I'm certainly happy for them. Dave was so lonesome up there. And you know I've been looking for watch [with] sweep second hand. They have one at [Lords?]
