all day and night. We then withdrew back through the woods for a couple miles and set up another defense. This happened once more and then we started the march back to camp. Thats about the best I can explain the problem in a letter. It was no fun as it was hot and you can get pretty dirty in a week of you don't clean up once in awhile. We got back Fri. evening and I went to bed early. Sat. morning we had a parade and then a rifle inspection. I slept away Sat afternoon and last night the gang went to the movie. How's that for covering a weeks work in a few words? Hope you guys are all having a fine time. Boy would I like to have some good fried fish. We sneaked a camera out and took some pictures one evening a while back and this is the one they took of me.
