That is what they call a combat pack on my back and as you can see, I have a rifle with bayonet fixed. It looks like they set our moving date back again. They seem to be waiting around for something. They say we go out next week (about Tues) and stay for a month. They will surely have things fixed so we can write letters though. I'll have to let you know later. In case you don't hear, well you will know what I'm doing. What a dogs life that will be. I'm anxious to know how the football came out last Fri. I woke up out in the field Fri morning and the first thing I thought was that I hoped the weather at home was as good as it was here. In the movie last night they had a "Army, Navy Screen Magazine" and it was partly about life on an Iowa farm. Right at the start is showed some sign posts of towns in Iowa and
