Saving...
9:30. Turned in then and got a fair nights sleep. Got up at 5:00 this morning and started in again. We ran a problem in which the tanks supported infantry by going ahead to smash out enemy positions. This afternoon we learned how to search for mine fields and how to get through them. It rained then and still is as I mentioned before. Last night one of the guys had a snake get into bed with him. I suppose it got in to keep warm. When the kid felt him crawl across his leg he really flew out of the tent. It was dark so he couldn't see what kind it was. They have been killing several rattlers since being out here but he said this was a small like snake. Sorry to hear about RHS losing their first game. Maybe they will snap out of it. Too bad the weather had to be bad. Just [keept?] that SAE dues card dad. I couldn't do anything with it here and its better off as it is. Got the last $5 out here but haven't anything to use it on.
