You asked about the watch but there was no need for it is still running fine. The weather is still pretty warm. In fact I'm sitting outside with no shirt on and I'm sweating. The tents we have are the little two men pup tents. I think I mentioned that my 6 ft 6-1/2 in friend and I are living together. It makes a good tent full. That watch you are getting for Rose really sounds swell. It will make a fine present. I'll bet she is a happy girl now that its nearly over. There is nothing I need. The army will give me anything I need for where ever I'm going to be. The gang is beginning to gather in for the big evening bull session so I'll close for now and join them. Love, Carroll
