Saving...
Oct 25, 1944 Dear Folk & Rose, Guess I'd better get a few lines dashed off to you this evening. As usual, I'll start out by catching up with the news. Monday morning we had scouting and patrolling so I guess that explains itself. In the afternoon we had review classes on map reading, compass and P.T. Tues morning we had drill, classes on censorship etc. In the afternoon we had more review classes on everything in general. That was pretty easy huh? Last night we checked all our clothing and got some new. Today we had some squad tatics and this afternoon we had some military movies, drill, PT etc. I guess that about takes care of what I've been doing. Nothing that amounts to much. Sounds like you are making the rounds of the country side. Sure was swell Max got to come home while Rose was there. I changed my bond from $25 a month to $50 starting Jan. 1st I did that Mon. night
