UNITED STATES ARMY May 2, 1944 Dear Folks, I just finished my evening work and it is now 8:45. I have a few minutes of my own to try and catch up on letter writing. About half the company went on a four hour hike tonight. The ASTP guys didn't have to go because we get up early in the morning and pull targets out on the rifle range.
