May 21, 1944 Dear Folks, It is nine o'clock Sunday morning and I'm still in bed. I guess I'm just to lazy to get up, even to write letters. Got a letter from Margret and you to mom, yesterday. You wrote them at the same time and I got them the same time. I couldn't help but laugh at some of the things Margret wrote. About Ken cursing the car and throwing her shoes in the pool. I just sat on my bed and laughed all the time I was reading. What a gal!
