to come back. It was really funny. Mom, I can't really tell you what happened to Kay for I don't know. Everything was all right until she came home for xmas then something happened. She didn't write much after that. As you know, she promised to come out and see me when she got her spring vacation. Well, she quit school and I waited a while for her to offer to come out. She didn't so I wrote and asked her about it. She didn't answer so I called her. That is when I told here to come out, but she said she had changed her mind and didn't want the ring. I don't know why for she would never tell me. I quit writing then and I got some letters asking me to write so I did. She seemed half way ok then.
