now I'm darned near dead and I don't mean maybe. I've gotten about 9 hours sleep in the last 64. I was surprised that I don't feel worse after taking that hike and all. I guess that takes us up to date. Dad, when I said I changed barracked I meant that that I was still in the same co. but just changed buildings. I'm still in the Rifle Co. but in the weapons platoon. Each Rifle company has three Plat., one of which is a weapons plat. this is made up of 2 light 30 cal machine guns and 3 60 mm mortars. They are about like the bigger guns, only smaller. They are used to get up closer to the enemy with these smaller ones. Hope you get what I mean. I'm too sleepy to write what I mean. I got a letter from Ken today and he mentioned the glasses so I suppose they will be along soon. I'm been wanting a good pair, but didn't want to put out the money. My gosh, I can't get over how high the water was around home. I've seen it high
