Saving...
does it. The guys took up a collection for him and I think they ended up with about $100 for a wedding presenst. He is really a pretty good Sgt so I didn't mind tossing in my share. This morning we tore our rifles down to every screw and bolt for an inspection. That was pretty easy for a forenoons work, but we had plenty of our own work to do. I think i'll try the swimming pool out after while. The water may be boiling, but I'll chance it. I suppose Kermit is home by this time. Sure would like to have come along. I know this is short, but I just have to get these other letters answered today or I'll never get it done. Love Carroll
