ok, but we didn't stay long. A terrific rain storm blew up and we really got soaked. On the way in across the fields, we waded water shoe top deep. The rain came so hard that our raincoats didn't do much good. We got back and cleaned and oiled our equipment to keep it from rusting. Right now I'm dressed and ready to to stand retreat which is about ready to go. Its still raining a little bit. I guess that just about brings me up to date. I'm pretty darned tired as I didn't get to bed till late and then we got up early. I should write alot of letters tonight, but I'll probably go to bed. The kid that got married settled down ok. I was with the two of them for a little while in Ozark and they are really swell. Mom, don't worry about whether or not I have anything of Kay's. I don't think I have, but I asked her when I last wrote. If I have I'll get it settled when I get home next time. I got a letter from her today. She said she was quiting work in about three weeks and was
