going to Ohio to be with her mother. Bill Thompson is in Georgia and was trying to get a pass to come and see me but he didn't get it yet. He talked like he wasn't working very hard. Hope "old man river" has gone back where it belongs. Should be alot of fish in those ponds when it does go back. We keep getting new men in all of the time. Evidently these old timers will be going POE almost any day now. I haven't heard much about our moving lately. I just hope its a move closer to home if we do move. I told you about our storm but I just found out that a kid got killed by lightning during it. Two others were hurt also. I guess they were march in when it hit them. Retreat is over and I've eaten already. Guess I'd better get busy and answer these other letters. I really can't think of much else to write tonigh. I think we take a 15 mile night hike again tomorrow night.
