Saving...
United States Army Nov. 6, 1944 Dear Folks, Guess I'm a little slow in writing, but its so darned hard to write when so much of the things you want to talk about is restricted. Haven't been doing much since I got here, but I'm not one to complain about that. I managed to see a bit of New York the other day. Spent most of the time on Broadway and thereabouts. Sure seemed good to be back north again. There was really a mob on the streets and it was even fun to see people after being in [Alo?] so long. Got a little letter from Ken saying he didn't think he would get home until Dec. sometime. sure be swell if he could make it a Xmas time! Its pretty cold out today or at least it sees so. Maybe I was down south too long. Anyway I'm wearing everything short
