Saving...
so we are putting them over the ropes. If I swing that paddle much more I'll have to start using my left arm. My night as "charge of Quarters" went off with no mishaps. I only got five hours of sleep but outside of that it was ok. I went around with the study check officers and called off the names of the guys in rooms. That was all the excitement. There was a train accident down the line today so we got no mail. Don't know if I 'd have much anyway. The weather is still good as can be. It snowed a little this morning, but it cleared off and now the snow is gone again. My room is turning into a bull session. I'm afraid I won't get any more letters written tonight. This happens darned near every night. Needless to say, we study only when we feel like it, but we never feel like it. We scrubbed and waxed our room again tonight. I'll make a good housekeeper yet. The way things look in Richland, I may have to do my own at that. Can't think of much else. Things look like I might be here for a little while yet, but I can't be sure after this eight weeks is up. Love Carroll
