Saving...
March 12, 1944 Dear Folks, I'm very much afraid I didn't write oftener the way said I was would. It is pretty easy to put off writing letters. I'm way behind. I seem to do everything, but get my work done. We have a big meeting and talk over old times about every night during study hours. One night we had a birthday party for Bill McDonald. I gave him a carton of cigarettes. We snag songs all that night and we really raised the roof for twenty of us were in his room. That's the way it goes every night for no one studies at all. Saturday we had a "barn party" at the SAE house. It was quite a lot of fun. Today I went bowling with those two guys I run around with. I hadn't heard anything about the Iowa storm. I never listen to a radio and very seldom read a paper. I finally got Swede written to. I've been planning on it for a long enough time haven't I? The weather is still fine here. I was running around with just a blouse on today.
