Saving...
Its evening now. I thought I'd wait and see if I got a letter tonight and I did get one from Dad. Good thing I waited. Dad, thanks for the money. Here is something else. Don't send your watch because I don't need it that bad and it talks a lot of knocks being shipped around. I won't need it till Ken finds one. Thanks anyway. Sounds like a good idea to let Norval work out some of the rent. From the way the talk has been, the place needs a good cleaning up anyway. I haven't heard from Kay for awhile. I did have one letter from her after I quit writing and she was wondering why I hadn't written. I answered then and told her she could either settle down and take things a little more seriously or just to forget everything. Under the circumstances that was about all I could do. I haven't heard from yet yet, but I only wrote last Sunday. Had a letter from Mary today and she said she had been home. Sounds like you made a tour of the town seeing all the new increases. I've been in an shaved, washed my hair, showered and I feel pretty good. Sure would like to go to bed but it isn't even dark yet. Guess this is about all for this time. Love Carroll.
