I went downtown and mailed you watch out today dad. Thanks for lending me yours. The more I have this watch of mine, the better I like it. Honest, it is really swell of you to get it for me and thanks again. Its been snowing nearly all day and the wind has been blowing quite hard, I guess they had quite a storm in the Rockies last week. Sounds like you are getting the house all fixed up. Ought to look pretty good by the time Ken gets home. That's all the guy ever writes about. Can't say that I blame him much though. Think I'll spend a little time tomorrow getting my barrack bag ready to go. There is quite a lot of stuff I can have packed and out of the way. A lot of the fellows are getting "butch" haircuts in preparation of leaving. Think I'll wait till I get to camp. Guess I'll go to bed now. Night mom Night dad Love Carroll
