Saving...
March 19, 1944 Dear Folks, Tomorrow we start final tests. They last till Sat. I'm afraid they won't amount to much for no one cares if they pass or not. It sounds like we will be leaving soon after tests for they told us to send no more laundry and to have no one write us after the 26th of this month. I still don't know where we are going. The cookies came through in fine shape. Got them Sat noon and they were gone long before evening. They were really good and thanks mom. Got my watch Sat too. It is really a fine looking watch and just what I wanted. I've been running around showing it off to everyone I know. No kidding, I'm really glad to get a watch like this. I wish you could see it. I won't comment on Ken's comparing Kay to Margret Bridges, but I'm very much afraid he is mistaken. What good does it do me though?
