Saving...
April 16, 1944 Dear Folks, Sunday night already! I guess its been quite some time since my last letter so I'll try and pick up where I left off. We trained as usual last week with the exception of Friday. We spend that day getting ready to leave. We left Camp Robinson at 7:00 in the evening. By the way, I'm seeing a lot of states in my army travels. This time I hit the corner of Tenn. and then we crossed Miss. then into Alabama. The Florida line isn't too far from here. In case you want to look on a map for me, I'm near a little town called "Ozark". I came htrough Tuscallousa (sp.) where Keith Hadley is. Its about a 7 or 8 hours trip from here though. In fact there is very little in the way of towns around here close. My reasons for not writting sooner are that I guess we were more or less not supposed to write any the last few days. We got in at about 12:00 last night. We were carrying full field equipment
