Jan 6, 1945 Dear folks, As you probably have known for sometime, I'm in the MP'S now. I sent that cable soon as I could so my mail would start coming through. And now for a little bit about my new home. We came over Fri afternoon. Got assigned to a room and since them I haven't been doing much. Just getting straightened around. There are five of us in the room. I am sleeping on an army cot. The room is small with bath room attached. The fellows seem ok to. I guess it will be alright once I get
