The mail is coming through fairly good now. I got a letter yesterday dated Jan 1. You don't have to send envelopes and paper in your letters now. I have enough to last until the [hops?] get here. Thanks for adding my name to moms present dad. As I keep saying, someday I'll be able to do it for myself. Dad, I'd like to tell you more about what I'm doing, but I can't. That is why it is so hard to write from here. That surprised me that [Tam?] had gone back to the states. Do you know what was wrong with him? If he did land in [?] it might not pay you to go up. He isn't one to talk much unless you knew him as well as I did. Thats the [?]
