France Jan 24, 1945 Dear Folks, Guess I've really got to get down to business and write letters now. I got eight letters, a package from Aunt Delphia + Beulah, Aunt Muriel, a package of stationary from you, the Clarion (Nov 23) and a Bob Hope book from Rose. See what I mean? As for the letters, they were mixed up. I got one from Dad written Nov 13 and 20. I can't use the $5 in the one dad, but I can keep it just to remember what they look like. I see what you mean about feeling old mom. I got a letter from Ken the same day. He just barely mentioned it, but I know darned well his vest buttons are about to fly off. I think it is really swell. Can't think of any other way to describe it. The answer to your question is yes. I hope you can remember what you ask. You are wrong about the picture tho. I was not in the picture by a mortar. By the way, how is the book, I've never seen it? The mail is starting to come in a little better now so I guess we are set on that score. Sounds like old times with fight at the
