a time with your dog. First thing you know you'll be wanting to keep her. Sounds like promotions are really going around the family. I know in Swede's letter he seemed to think he was never going to make 1st Lt. I haven't heard from Tom for a long time and I haven't written him either. I've been waiting until he landed someplace and I could get his address. I to saw in the papers where the 37th Din was on [?]. I figured Ray was in there someplace. I've gotten do darned many letters to answer that I don't think I'll get caught up. When you have a busy spell you really get behind. I got the letter with the watch strap ok. I didn't put in on yet as my other one is good for little while yet. I'll have it when I need it though. Sounds like excitement this morning. I just heard the artillery open up.
